I have been coming here for years as I grew up in the area. I came today and feels that nothing has changed other than obviously the prices hahaha, inflation. My go to are the chicken tacos and chicken torta, never disappoint. They have two locations, I prefer the 2049 location on Macdonald ave because I feel that is safer, there are less people, and the service is always friendly. They worked very quick and got my food under 5-10 minutes. I would recommend coming here, specifically the second location!

Dang this was the best taco truck I've had in Richmond!!! Super flavorful, good portions, very satisfying!! Unfortunately I went back recently and was expecting the same thing and it wasn't as good!!! They gave NO meat the tacos were mostly onions and cilantro, I was SOOO disappointed! I hate it when places aren't consistent and this place was for SO LONG until recently my last visit. But I'll be back!

I got out of contra costa college late and craving taco before lent and this was only one late night ( midnight ) near me before going home. Place is small but clean and has small parking on side but parking on street. It had tripas my happy spot - tacos average price but loaded the meat. They speak Spanish & English & friendly & service was pretty fast. Burritos are what recommended!!! From the other patrons. Very busy spot .

East bay burrito review #31 Initial taste - 6/7 Meat - 6/7 Beans - 6/7 Rice - 4/7 Cheese 5/7 Onions and cilantro - 6/7 Salsa 5/7 Tortilla 5/7 Overall 5/7 Very tasty burrito. Definitely what I want when I get the daily cravings. My one issue is that it's a little rice heavy, but I think that is an adjustable problem. Tortilla could use come time on the griddle.

Hadn't been here in years so I decided to give it another try for their well known tacos! Coming in as a pickup order I went straight to the window and was served immediately by one of the workers who greeted me and asked me to repeat my order to make sure it was mine. It wasn't such amazing service but it's understandable since I had done a pickup order instead of ordering on site. In terms of ambiance, it's a pretty cozy spot located near a busy street with semi limited parking depending on time of day but still very calm. Now for the food, I was honestly surprised. I had heard mixed reviews about them recently saying their food isn't the same quality as It used to be but in my opinion the tacos were still very good. I had ordered 4 tacos de asada with everything and I Ate them very quickly with my only complaint being how some pieces of meat had a lot of fat and nerve attached to them which made me have to take some pieces of meat off but other than that they were good. Because of that I would rate these tacos a solid 8/10 because having all those pieces of fat and nerve do make the actual meat serving smaller but other than that I really enjoyed the tacos.

One of the best burritos I've had! Huge portion size, juicy, and they don't skimp on the sour cream and cheese! Definitely made it to my go-to for burritos in the area! I ordered the burrito through DoorDash and I think it came from the restaurant on 710 23rd st. The tacos for me, were dry. I've had the burrito and tacos on separate occasions. I've ordered the tacos in person at the truck late at night. Maybe the truck and the restaurant differ?

Stopped by La Flor De Jalisco today for lunch. Grabbed a few tacos to share with my brothers. The food was very good. Meat was seasoned to perfection and was very flavorful. The strawberry agua fresca was pretty good. A nice change from ordering Jamaica or horchata LOL. The tacos are $3.60 for one. Agua Fresca was $4.25 Included a pic of what I ordered and other menu items so you could have an idea of pricing and what not. Happy holidays y'all! :)
